Edithcolea grandis is not frost resistant and must be moved indoors for warmth before the start of winter.
1. Soil
The soil should have good air permeability to provide sufficient oxygen to the roots. It is best to choose loose and fertile soil or courtyard soil.
2. Lighting
Strong positive plants require sufficient sunlight, are not tolerant of shade, and should not have less than 8 hours of sunlight per day. Insufficient sunlight can cause flower buds to fall off and flowers to shrink.
3. Moisture
Watering should be based on the dry and wet conditions of the soil in the pot, as excessive dryness or wetness can affect flowering.
